Freelancing: Reporter/Writer, Editor, Critic (2023-Present)
As a freelancer, I have the ability to adapt to your publication or business. I’ve edited blog posts, reviewed festival releases, and produced in-depth coverage of major TV shows.
The Daily Dot (2012-2023)
I started out at the Daily Dot as a summer intern and, over the span of 11 years, rose to become a full-time staff writer. I played a major role in shaping the site’s entertainment and fandom coverage as the site expanded its staff and the beats it covered. I became the site’s Game of Thrones beat writer at the series’ peak. I started producing film and TV criticism, and I successfully advocated for covering film festivals outside of the Austin, Texas area, such as Tribeca, NYFF, and Sundance.
WCAU-TV (2012)
As an intern, I was part of Tracy Davidson’s NBC10 Consumer Watch team. I researched upcoming stories, scheduled future interviews, logged past interviews, took messages, and answered consumer concerns. I also wrote and uploaded content for nbcphiladelphia.com and went out on assignment with day-side reporters.
WGLS-FM (2008-2012)
After completing a training course, I became a student disc jockey for Rowan University’s radio station, which broadcasts to South Jersey, parts of Philadelphia, and Delaware. During my shifts, I ensured that things ran smoothly.
